The Executive Director of Couples for Christ is the head of the International Council, the highest decision-making body within the community. The Executive Director, also known simply as Director, acts as the de facto spokesperson and leader of CFC.

The current Executive Director is Jose Tale who took office on February 22, 2007. His first term will expire on June 30, 2009 and he will be eligible for reappointment.

Term and SelectionEdit

Executive Directors serve for renewable two-year terms. The CFC Statutes provides for the Executive Director to be appointed by the Elders Assembly upon the nomination of the incumbent Council and the Board of Elders. As a member of the Council, which is limited to Catholics, the Executive Director must be a Catholic as well.
